There’s a master of the Dark Arts lurking around Soho Square and his name is Drummond Money-Coutts. He can be found in Quintessentially Soho on a weekly basis as well as being the resident entertainment for Annabel’s on Thursdays.
At Quintessentially Soho, he sits at the main bar, keen to draw the people in rather than force his work upon them.

Sales of superyachts have soared in recent months as the super rich regain faith in the burgeoning economy. A good 300 million Euros' worth of 70m long boat have been sending flutes of rainbow-coloured Riviera sparkle in its wake since 2010 began.

Noel Coward's 1930 comedy Private Lives is probably his best known and most popular play, a standby of repertory and amateur theatre. Sir Richard Eyre's new staging is as clever and restrained as it needs to be, helped immensely by strong lead performances by Matthew MacFadyen and Kim Cattrall.

La Fille Mal Gardée opened at the Royal Opera House to joyous acclaim from the first night audience. The ballet is a comic tour-de-force in which acclaimed dancer Carlos Acosta as 'Colas' and Marianela Nuñez as 'Lise', perform several superbly harmonized par de deux with such energy and chemistry that the audience are utterly transfixed by the pair.

Although I'm not usually a very sweet-toothed person, sometimes treats just jump out and grab your attention and this was exactly the case when I came across Mychelle's Baketique housed in the eco-friendly hotel Rafayel on The Left Bank.

Although all establishments of a certain calibre boast the accoutrements one would expect of a luxury destination, it does take a certain something which cannot be bought to create the sense of peace found at Gidleigh Park. Built in 1928 and converted into a hotel in 1977, Gidleigh's old world calm belies its relative youth.
