NORWAY: The Restaurants Edition.
Norwegian cuisine is all about fantastic local ingredients such as king crab from the Barents Sea, excellent fish such as salmon, cod or halibut, organic Lofoten lamb or the tasty cloudberry for example. Norway also has chefs to rival the best in Europe; a vast array of local specialties and traditional dishes for all seasons. Five Norwegian restaurants now have a total of six Michelin stars. Four restaurants have one michelin star whilst Maaemo, the innovative Oslo restaurant has received three stars. Kontrast, Statholdergaarden, Sabi Omakase and RE-NAA have single stars.
Nordic food temple with three stars in the Michelin Guide for the second year in a row. At Maaemo, raw produce is of the highest importance. By using the finest producers, who approach their product with love and understanding, this experimental fine dining restaurant hopes to help others rediscover the pride in using local produce. The drinks menus have been carefully selected to add an extra dimension to each of the courses on the seasonal set menu.

The menu varies according to the time of the year and they pride themselves on using Norwegian produce when it is at its best.
