Credit Controller, London

Job Summary

The Credit Controller is based within the Quintessentially Travel team. Quintessentially Travel provides an elite travel booking service to members of the Quintessentially concierge as well as non-members. Booking tailor made bespoke holidays from the ordinary to the extraordinary; we provide exclusive access to the globe's finest hotels, luxury villas and retreats. 

This is an ideal position for someone coming with previous Credit Controller experience and is wanting more variety in their work.

Responsibilities

  • Raising commission invoices and chasing the hotels & suppliers for commission due to Quintessentially group on a timely manner
  • Proactively manage the collection of outstanding monies owed to the company
  • Managing overdue accounts, liaising internally and when applicable escalating issues
  • Updating Sales sheets and the commissions received for all colleagues within the group on a timely basis
  • Reconciliation of commission owed from/to Franchise offices worldwide on monthly basis
  • Charging clients CC on the online terminal and capturing it against their respective debtor account on Sage
  • Assisting & dealing with any general accounting query
  • General Admin duties as & when required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience working as Credit Controller
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required, including a good telephone manner
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Computer Literate with sound knowledge of Word and Excel. Knowledge of accounting packages an advantage, but not essential
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, as well as being able to work on your own initiative
  • Experience of using Sage/ Sage 200 would be advantageous but not a prerequisite 

Hours of Work

Monday-Friday, 9am-5.30pm
