The Churchill Foundation & Quintessentially Foundation Shooting Challenge

May 22nd 2017
Quintessentially is proud to announce that its charitable arm, Quintessentially Foundation, in partnership with The Churchill Foundation and Banham, has raised £270,000 at its Annual Clay Pigeon Shooting Challenge. This is the event's highest ever total to date, with all proceeds benefitting Walking With The Wounded and Dallaglio RugbyWorks.

Now in its 5th year, this incredibly successful event took place at Englefield Estate in Berkshire on 18th May 2017. It was supported by Banham, as well as Bentley, Champagne Taittinger, Purdey and Le Chameau. The event was attended by over 150 guests and featured 30 teams that shot over 1,000 clays with the Royal Berkshire Shooting School before enjoying a sun-drenched Champagne Taittinger reception on the lake, as the competition continued for the best shot of the day. Throughout the afternoon, guests contributed generously to raise funds for the two chosen charities, who will benefit jointly from the money raised.

The highlight of the afternoon was without doubt the luxury auction. Incredible prizes up for grabs included several once-in-a-lifetime experiences including a weekend on a 42m Crystal Benetti yacht, a week in Beverley Hills at the brand-new Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills hotel, a bespoke whisky-blending master class with Craigellachie Hotel and Jetfly, a cycling adventure along Europe's landmark cycling routes with Rugby legend Lawrence Dallaglio, and a fabulous five-day skiing experience at the Warren Smith Ski Academy in Verbier.
