Nowhere can motorsport enthusiasts get closer to their beloved cars than at Goodwood Festival of Speed. This peculiar combination of country house garden party and F1-style meet, will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year, when the Duke of Richmond hosts the festival's silver jubilee, from the 12th to the 15th July.

As is the case every year, fans will be able to get up-close to the vehicles, pit crews and drivers they so admire, in the grounds of the Duke's stunning Goodwood House in West Sussex. There will be the usual hill climbs, forest rallies and supercar runs to get excited about, in addition to which the Duke will choose 25 of his favourite moments from the event's past quarter of a century, each of which will mark an important milestone in this, the largest car culture event in the world.

Bentley is best known for its high-specification, exquisitely designed, and expertly finished cars – such as the beautiful new grand tourer Bentley Continental GT. The marque also hosts a series of annual experiential events for drivers, collectors and followers of the brand. These Extraordinary World events - as they're known - have seen participants race across the frozen lakes of Finland, weave their way along the winding roads of France's Champagne region in Marne, and scale the mountainous climes of Chile and Bolivia.

This summer, Bentley is offering fans a taste of this at Goodwood, by enabling a select few participants to not only get to know the cars and crews a little better, but also to join Bentley's drivers in the passenger seat, as they race around this famous course. This notoriously close-quartered motorsport event just got a little bit more hands on.
