Don't let festive celebrations suffer because of social distancing measures or other restrictions – here is a fun list of virtual activities and party ideas for the family or workplace.

As in-person parties aren’t possible for most of us this year, we’ve compiled some solutions so celebrations can continue. We’ve become well-versed in Zoom and maximising our time at home – add the below elements to those newfound realities, and you’ll have a full-on party, for you, your workmates, or a group. Happy Christmas!

Food & Drink

Virtual masterclasses with famous chefs

We're happy to offer private and intimate masterclasses with some of our fantastic chef and restaurant partners, including Michelin-starred Marcus Wareing, Paul Ainsworth, Andrew Wong, and personalities such as Richard Corrigan and Adam Handling.

Food kits with virtual cook-a-long

Deliver food kits to each guest of your Christmas party in advance, then enjoy a virtual cook-a-long with everyone on Zoom. The Ambassador General Store, which delivers DIY boxes from Gymkhana, Trishna and Brigadiers is a fun option, as is Mac & Wild or festive buns from BAO.

Virtual spirit tasting with Hedonism

Embark on one of two spirit tastings that explore production, style, brands and trends. Agave Adventure uncovers the unique qualities of mezcal and tequila while Rum Romance tastes and defines specifics of rum, which is tipped to be the next big spirit.

Virtual tasting with The Macallan

Keeper of the Quaich David Sinclair can host a virtual tasting, leading participants through the notes with his expert palate. We can organise tasting kits and bespoke sessions to accommodate any party.

Cocktail masterclass with William Grant & Sons in benefit of The Felix Project

William Grant & Sons, owner of brands such as Hendrick's, The Balvenie and Glenfiddich, are offering members virtual tastings with a Brand Ambassador for their company parties if they donate to The Felix Project.

Virtual baking with Lola's Cupcakes

In celebration of the return of The Great British Bake Off, why not try your hand at recreating Lola's iconic buttercream cupcakes during a private virtual class – you could even make it a competition with a prize awarded for the winning festive bake.

Bespoke celebration with Jimmy Garcia

Beloved catering company Jimmy Garcia has been organising exclusive celebrations for members throughout the year, from cocktail making classes to picnics to barbecues.

Virtual chocolate tasting with Rococo Chocolates

Enjoy a virtual chocolate tasting with master chocolatiers Rococo Chocolates – you will be sent a hamper in advance, big enough for two or perfect for one – then be lead through the tasting by an expert, revealing the history and methodology of their delicious chocolate.
