London
Coal Drops Yard
With a canal-side location just by King’s Cross station, Coal Drops Yard is set to become the new unique destination for shopping. Miles away from the impersonal high-street shopping experience, the cobbled streets and Victorian archways will house an eclectic mix of independent shops, including signature British and international retail brands.
 
New Concept store 50m
Created by the art collective Something and Son, 50m opened in Belgravia this summer and is home to emerging luxury designers. You’ll find emerging luxury fashion labels and lifestyle brands and a co-working space for designers that allows customers to give direct feedback.
 
Redchurch Street
This once-gritty street now boasts a range of distinctive independent shops, galleries, cafes and bars. APC, MHL, Modern Society, Aesop, Klaus Haapaniemi and Tracey Neuls are among some of the covetable names.
 
New York
The Webster
This 12,000-square-foot store contains six floors of designer treats from Dior, Loewe, The Row, Sies Marjan, Thom Browne, Chanel, Gucci, Raf Simons and Balenciaga. Hairstylist David Mallett also runs a full-service salon on one of the floors and the penthouse is a haven for VIP clients and various in-store events.
 
10 Corso Como
The celebrated Milanese shopping destination 10 Corso Como has opened a location in Lower Manhattan’s historic Seaport District. The stylish store - boasting black-and-white interiors carrying the brand's circular motifs – occupies the ground floor of the Fulton Building. What was once a market, is now a fully renovated haven of fashion; part of a large-scale project to revitalise the neighbourhood.
 
Sarah Jessica Parker’s pop-up shoe store
The Sex and the City actress recently opened her first standalone shoe store in Lower Manhattan’s Seaport District, attracting scores of well-heeled fans eager get a first look at the boutique and a chance to catch a glimpse of the fashion icon.
